Method of Preparation: - Make a porridge with 2 tablespoon(25g) of this palappampodi and sugar to taste with 2 glasses(400 ml) of water and allow it to cool.
- Extract the milk from 1/2 to 1 coconut (depending on size) and add water to get 3 glasses(600 ml) of coconut milk.
- Mix Devon Palappampodi with the cool porridge, add salt to taste and knead well to make the dough.
- Now add the coconut milk to the dough to get a thin batter.
- After the batter rises(in about 90 minutes)you can make excellent Palappam.
Use a non sticky Thava if you have.
