Cooking Instructions:
Pre-cooking: Before cooking rince the rice thoroughly in a sieve under cold running water. Soak for 30 minutes.
Measures: - Open pan cooking- 4 units of water for 1 unit of rice.
- Closed pan cooking-2 units of water for 1 unit of rice.
Quantity Advice: Allow 50 g uncooked rice per person when serving as an accompaniment, or 40g in a salad when mixed with other ingredients and 75g when served as a main meal.
Cooking Instructions: For best results soak rice in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. Choose one of the following methods according to your usual practice of cooking and desired quantity. For best results wash and soak the rice for 20-30 minutes.
A. Open Post: Rice should be added to boiling water and cooked for 10 minutes in medium heat. Finally strain and wash in hot water.
B. Closed Post: The mixture of water & Rice (ratio of 1 3/4 measure of water & 1 measure of rice) should be boiled in heavy based vessel and then cooked for 10 minutes covered with lid in low heat. Allow 5 minutes for cooling.
C. Microwave: The desired mixture of water & rice(ratio 1 3/4 should be covered with a cling film in deep vessel. 6 minutes on thaw completes the process.300g.of rice is recommended at a time.
