Ingredients - Fish-500g
- Tomato (chopped) - 3 (150 g)
- Green Chilli ( Slit)-4
- Ginger (Chopped) - 1 piece
- Garlic (Chopped) - 4 cloves
- Onion (Chopped) - 150 g (3 medium size)
- Curry Leaves -a few
- Devon Fish Masala - 3 teaspoon
- Oil - 3 tablespoon
- Chilly Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- salt - to taste
- Water (For soaking fish masala) - 4 teaspoon
Method
Smear the sliced fish with chilly powder and salt. Keep aside 30 minutes. Then fry it till it is lightly brown on both sides. Then brown the onion and add the ginger and green chilly, garlic and curry leaves. Fry this for 2 minutes. Add the tomato and saute. Soak the Devon Fish Masala in water and saute along with the other ingredients for 1/2 a minute. Add 2 cups( 16 oz ) of water and salt to taste. Cover and boil. Add the fish and cook it on a low fire the gravy thickens. This recipe can also be followed without frying the fish. |
